MANAGER OF HEALTH INFORMATION AND RECORDS

Full-time position, primarily Monday through Friday. Position is responsible for organizing, planning, directing, controlling and continuously improving activities of the Health Information and Records Department.

The primary functions include, but are not limited to, Medical Records, Transcription, Coding, HIPAA, and Medical Services.

Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited Health Records Management program and certified as a Registered Record Administrator (RRA) or equivalent experience with intent to obtain RRA. Applicant should have prior experience (minimum of 5 years) managing a health info/medical records department and should possess strong verbal and writing skills. Familiarity with computers and department specific computer applications.


REGISTERED NURSE (OUTPATIENT SURGERY UNIT/RECOVERY ROOM)

Full-time position in the Outpatient Surgery Unit/Recovery Room. Hours are primarily second shift with the possibility of first shift. Hours will be a possible 5 days/8 hour day or 4 days/10 hour day primarily Monday through Friday with Call rotation.

Position will provide post-op care to surgical patients, monitor post-operative recovery patients, administer blood transfusions and monitor patients receiving blood, and admitting and monitoring patients for specific outpatient diagnostic tests.

Qualifications: RN License, satisfactory completion of an approved Critical Care or Telemetry Course, ability to perform essential functions of position and work independently, strong communication and organizational skills. Applicant should be willing to be on-call and work on-call rotation and willing to complete ACLS certification.


REGISTERED NURSE (OPERATING ROOM)

Full-time position in the Operating Room. Hours are primarily Monday through Friday daylight and evening shifts with on-call rotation (weeknights, weekends, and holidays). Hours will be a possible 5 days/8 hour day or 4 days/10 hour.

This full-time position is a vital member of the Surgical Services team and is responsible for performing a variety of Operating Room functions (scrub, circulate) for surgical patients.

Qualifications: Prior operating room experience is preferred, RN License.


CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST

Full-time position in the Operating Room. Hours are primarily Monday through Friday daylight and evening shifts with on-call rotation (weeknights, weekends, and holidays). Hours will be a possible 5 days/8 hour day or 4 days/10 hour.

The Certified Surgical Technologist functions as a scrub nurse on the surgical team, assists in applicable O.R. duties/procedures.

Qualifications: Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program, Certified Surgical Tech (CST) required (or obtained within 18 months), prior experience is preferred.


CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST

CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNOLGIST/CERTIFIED REGISTERED CENTRAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Full-time position. Hours are primarily Monday through Friday daylight and evening shifts with on-call rotation (weeknights, weekends, and holidays). Hours will be a possible 5 days/8 hour day or 4 days/10 hour and will depend on hospital need.

The Certified Surgical Technologist/Certified Registered Central Service Technician functions as a scrub nurse on the surgical team, assists in applicable O.R. duties/procedures, and is responsible for the provision of patient care equipment and supplies that have been cleaned/sterilized through hospital approved techniques.

Qualifications: graduate of a Surgical Tech Program, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required, Certified Registered Central Service Technician (or obtain Certification within 18 months), prior experience is preferred.


PATIENT ACCESS CLERK

Part-time position, rotating shifts as needed, every other weekend/holiday rotation.

Position performs all functions and activities related to patient access including but not limited to: reception/switchboard and registration, accurate patient scheduling and registration in the electronic scheduling system, pre-certification, on-site insurance verification, point of service collection, and discharge.

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent, Medical Secretary and/or Medical Administrative Assistant education preferred. Minimum of 1 year work-related experience in a medical-clinical office, experience in a hospital setting preferred. Previous experience with computerized registrations systems and Electronic Health Record System preferred. Familiarity of medical insurance and medical terminology preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality is mandatory. Excellent customer service skills, articulate verbal communication, telephone etiquette and the ability to deal with patients and visitors of all demographics is a must. Must have computer proficiency and data entry skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as work independently.


NURSE MANAGER – OBSTETRICS

Full-time position that will assist in the provision of “hands-on” care – primarily Monday through Friday and as needed to meet hospital/patient care need. This individual will have continuous responsibility (24 hours/day, 7days/week) for planning, delivery and evaluation of care for ante/intra/post-partum obstetric patients and newborns in accordance with established standards of practice.

Coordinates nursing activities to provide quality care in a cost-effective manner, continually monitors to assure compliances with nursing, regulatory and accrediting standards and promotes cooperation and teamwork in the delivery of quality patient care.

Qualifications: Current PA RN licensure – Registered Nurse and BSN or degree in health care administration preferred, minimum of five years of obstetric experience required, prior supervisory experience preferred, demonstrated effective problem-solving and critical decision making skills, demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and possesses tact, discretion and diplomacy, demonstrated ability to coordinate available resources to meet pre-determined objectives and goals, knowledge of regulatory and accrediting standards for obstetric and neonatal services, Neonatal Resuscitation Instructor or willingness to obtain, ability to perform essential functions of the position.
